What to Bring to Club Each Day

You will need...

  • A packed lunch, snacks for morning and a refillable drink bottle with your child’s name on it or you can order a lunch with us.
  • Tuck shop money a maximum of £1 per child per child per day
  • Change of clothes for Wet activities or muddy / rainy days.
  • Appropriate clothing for the weather i.e sun hats, sun screens,

You will not need...

  • Mobile phone use is not allowed, but children bringing phones must keep them in their personal bag
  • Sports equipment – we’ve got plenty!

General Information

Drop Off & Collection

  • A staff member will be present at the entrance to register your child
  • A coach will then help your child to the lockers where they can store their stuff before taking them to the meeting point
  • On collection your child will be ready in the school hall for collecting – please let us know if you would like your child to go with another child or parent at morning registration

Accidents

Inevitably, bumps and scrapes happen from time to time and there is always First Aid qualified team members on site. Minor accidents will be discussed with you when you collect your child. We will contact you by phone in the case of a more serious accident or incident.

Children with Medical Conditions

We trust that you will give us as much information as possible about any medical conditions for your child before club starts via your account. Medical information will remain confidential and only referred to by our on-site personnel.  This includes any allergy or diet requirements.

Insurance

We have public liability and employer’s liability insurance.

Complaints

All complaints to be directed to Kim Reeves in the fist instance by telephone, in person or by email.  All responses will be made with 48 hours.

Safeguarding Policy

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Safer recruitment is central to the way we work and all staff and volunteers are expected to share our commitment to safeguarding, always creating an environment where young people feel safe and can thrive.

Contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request but this can not be guaranteed. Please provide as much notice as possible to ensure we have the correct requirement of coaches working each session.

Childcare Vouchers

We DO NOT currently accept childcare vouchers

HAF Bookings

All HAF bookings must first be registered on the SBC council website via the Evoucher system issued to you by your school. A Swindon Multi sports Application form will then be sent for completion which must be returned to secure your place.

HAF Lunches – all HAF lunches are free of charge and should be ordered on the Swindon Multi Sports application form. Please let us know if you would prefer to bring your own packed lunch.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Our programmes are built each day around the requirements of the group and individuals. All our games and sessions are age appropriate and are optional and they are free to choose the activity that suits them including unstructured play.
Our programmes are suitable for children who are between the ages of 4 and 12 years of age but we do ask that all children have started school before attending.

Children can be dropped-off at 9:00am and collected at 3:00pm unless and early or late booking has been completed. We do however, understand that circumstances may change on a daily basis so the start and finish times can be booked and paid for on the day.

Breakfast can be ordered at the time of your booking on at morning check in each day. Please note this option is only available for early bookings.

A hot meal can be ordered at the time of your booking or at morning check in each day. You may wish to provide snacks for the morning break.

If you prefer Children can bring a packed lunch, snacks for the morning and a refillable drink bottle with their name on it.

Each child may bring a maximum of £1 to spend at the tuck shop each day. The tuck will vary each holiday club but will include a variety of 5p sweets, crisps, ice pops, candy floss, 10p chew bars.
To reduce the likelihood of items being lost, please label clothing, drinks bottles and lunch boxes.
We’ll be outside as much as weather permits so please ensure your child has appropriate clothing and shoes for both indoor and outdoor activities.

All of our coaches are selected for their energy, enthusiasm and support for the children. All coaches over the age of 16 years have complete DBS checks, safe guarding training and coaching qualifications of at least one sport.
